A downloadable game for Windows
I created this game using Simple DirectMedia Layer in Visual Studio, and it is fully written in C++.
This is a demo version of a much larger scope of a game that I have designed.
This was assigned as a solo project for our introduction to using SDL to implement rendering, animations, collisions, and practice object-oriented programming.
In this version, you have a basic introduction to the character's movement and attack ability. You'll encounter skeletons that are programmed to have a Patrol, Chase, and Attack state. I'm currently working on the larger scope of the game in Unity, and plan to upload that once I'm finished.
The assets are made by GameEndeavor from their Mystic Woods asset pack.
Known Bugs: The Enemy AI needs some work. The timer between enemy attacks seems to be reset if out of range and then brought back too soon when reentering their range. When switching scenes, the Skeletons can still move while the transition is fading despite what is being rendered.
